Grants

Through support from American Ag Credit’s Rural Roots Grant Program, the New Mexico FFA Foundation is offering grant opportunities to support FFA members, chapters, and agricultural education teachers across New Mexico. Funding is designed to strengthen agricultural education, provide resources for local FFA programs, and help students grow their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) projects.

FFA Chapter Grants

This grant provides $500 in funding to help New Mexico FFA chapters address a specific need or invest in an opportunity that will benefit their program. All New Mexico agricultural education teachers/FFA advisors with an FFA chapter are eligible to apply. Applicants will describe their chapter’s need, explain how the funding will benefit the chapter, and provide a proposed budget.

FFA Advisor Grants

The Ag Teacher/FFA Advisor Grant provides $500 in funding to support New Mexico agricultural education teachers and FFA advisors. Applicants will identify a need, explain how the grant will assist their program or chapter, and provide a budget outlining how the funds will be used.

SAE Grants

The New Mexico FFA Foundation will award 10 grants of $500 each to help FFA members develop and expand their Supervised Agricultural Experience projects. Students will describe their SAE, outline short- and long-term goals, and submit a proposed budget for the funding. SAE projects may include ownership/entrepreneurship, research, placement/internship, school-based enterprise, or service-learning.
